Dr. Heather McCurdy

Dr. McCurdy, her husband, and two children live in Washington DC's Brookland neighborhood.  Prior to working at Union Veterinary Clinic, Dr. McCurdy was an emergency veterinarian at Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic, and a staff doctor at Dupont Veterinary Clinic.  She has her B.A. and veterinary degrees from the University of Minnesota. 

Dr. McCurdy sees appointments Tuesday evenings, Thurday mornings and every other Saturday.

 

Dr. Tanya Sommerville

Dr. Sommerville is an emergency veterinary who practices full time at Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic.  She received her B.A. and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Auburn University. After school Dr. Sommerville interned at South Paws Veterinary Referral Center in Fairfax VA.  She currently lives with her husband, also a veterinarian on Capitol Hill.

 

Dr. Suzy R. Cooke

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School, Dr Cooke completed an internship at the University of Florida. Dr Cooke has a wide variety of veterinary careers under her belt. She is the head of the DC Academy, an organization which provides monthly continuing education seminars for local vets. She works as head veterinarian of the National Aquarium and the Baltimore Aquarium. Dr Cooke lives in the Dupont Circle area and has 2 cats and a large, bustling household of husband and 4 kids!

 

Dr. Cooke works on Wednesday evenings.
